Overview

At Bradford, you’ll learn how to generate and develop ideas and adopt a creative approach to your game development. All of our courses in Games, Animation, and Virtual Reality will develop your experience and understanding in a range of creative, technical, and practical modules including using industry-standard software (Unity, Unreal, Maya, Blender, and the Adobe suite) and developing critical thinking and cultural theory. Our programs offer an optional placement year in the industry, where you’ll learn personal and professional skills that will enable you to build contacts and secure the experience you need. You’ll develop crucial thinking skills that will help you to produce work of the highest standard and foster the technical know-how to be a leading professional in this fast-growing and competitive field.

Our Facilities

• 16-camera Vicon optical motion capture system
• state-of-the-art workstations with the latest industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, and Nuke
• stop-motion lab with Dragonframe software
• dedicated Chroma Key Studio
• drawing studio
• extensive range of cameras, including 4k and 8k cinema cameras and ENG cameras
• audio recording studio and professional editing systems

Equipment is free for students to use and are provided for project work. All course books, journals and online resources are provided in the library.

NEW as of September 2023! The Faculty of Engineering and Infomatics (FoEI) is delighted to be able to offer a generous scholarship that benefits its international students. International students will be granted a scholarship at a value of 50% of the advertised tuition fee!

The 50% tuition fee discount is automatically applied to international students for the following courses:
